Takamine’s Natural series was conceived to give the biggest and widest acoustic sound possible. The Natural ETN20C Jumbo is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. Solid cedar tops, solid sepele backs, a thin satin finish and no pick guard – anything that could possibly impede the vibration of the soundboard was purposely left out. The voice is as broad and powerful as the body would suggest and is sonically balanced for strumming chords all the way up the neck. In keeping with the “natural” theme, various woods are used to trim and decorate each model. The rosette is an intricate design using ovangkol and rosewood. The purfling is basswood and fretboard inlays are maple. A pinless bridge makes string changing a breeze. Includes Takamine’s palathetic pickup®, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The CT4B preamp has long been the popular choice among Takamine pro artists, providing warm natural acoustic tone at high sound pressure levels.
